It is with regret that "The Academy of Motorsports" will not open its doors at Carlisle School in the fall of 2009. As we explored the feasibility of the program and talked with interested parents and students, it became apparent that this is just not the time to launch a project of this magnitude. Most families referenced the atmosphere of economic uncertainty that we all feel and the financial commitment that would be required to send their son or daughter through the program. In addition, the young people we talked with were reluctant to leave their current racing venues, points standings mid-year, friends and family. All are certainly understandable.

We would like to thank everyone who lent their support to the development of the TAM program through their resources and contacts, financial investment and hard work.
